There are a lot of labels out there, and it’s hard to know which ones to trust. Make sure you do some research. One place to begin is checking if the label is a certification The MSC certification for seafood sustainability has strict criteria that organizations must achieve in order to be certified. Additionally, a trustworthy label should also be assessed by an independent, third party organization – NOT the same company that created the label. The MSC does not assess or certify fisheries. Fisheries must use expert, third-party auditors to become certified - this ensures the credibility of the label. With such a strong certification system in place, you can trust the MSC blue fish label.
