Visit to Orizon, MSC certified Chilean Mackerel, includes photos of fishery, processing, boat trips and communities with Bart van Olphen's brand Fish Tales whose objective was to show a 'catch to plate' story.
Orizon achieved MSC certification in 2019 and they provide ecolabelled products for markets including Chile, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland and Germany.
Chilean mackerel is well-managed after historically stocks become exploited and overfished, the region has worked hard to make improvements, become sustainable and ensure quotas follow the science.
