30 Sec. Script:
Wondering what makes a seafood label credible and how to know for sure that you’re buying a sustainable option? An effective label should prove 3 things:
1. The label is a certification. A certification provides the highest level of assurance that the product is verified to be sustainable.
2. The label provides ocean to plate traceability so you know your seafood comes directly from a sustainable fishery.
3. The program for sustainability uses scientific criteria to measure its impacts on ocean health.
Look for the MSC blue fish label for a trustworthy option.
15 Sec. Script:
A trustworthy seafood label should be able to prove it has positive impacts on ocean health and verify the source of the seafood through traceability. The MSC program does both! Make sure you look for the MSC blue fish label on seafood.
